17 year old killed in southside shooting

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) – Police are investigating a shooting on the southside that took the life of a 17 year old girl.
Officers were told by witnesses that two men in dark clothing were standing in front of a vehicle on Verne Street at around 10:30 last night.
The girl was in another car that was parked nearby and was hit by a single gunshot.
She was brought to University Hospital but she died soon after she arrived.
One of the men who was spotted near the scene has been located and he’s being held by Police for questioning.
The girls name hasn’t been released.
