Bicyclist hit by a car in New Braunfels

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) – Dark and foggy conditions are being blamed for an early morning accident in New Braunfels.
The driver of a Chevy Cruz exited the southbound lane of IH-35 at around 5 this morning. He didn’t see a bicyclist riding along the access road and struck the man.
The 55 year old biker was brought to SAMMC with some serious but non-life threatening injuries. The driver of the car wasn’t hurt and no charges are expected to be filed.
The crash happened in the 3200 block, near exit 184 of 35 South.
