Spring Football.

I love it. I am a football guy – the more the better.

The USFL starts this weekend. The XFL will start next season. I know in San Antonio we are mixed on the idea of a league not called the NFL. We have bought in and been burned too many times.

I thought the USFL would reboot the Gunslingers this year. Looks like the XFL will have a team here in 2023.

When Reggie Barlow resigned from Virginia State, it was reported that he was leaving VSU to become the Head Coach of the San Antonio XFL franchise. He is listed as the Head Coach of the San Antonio XFL franchise on his Wikipedia page.

Today, XFL owners The Rock and Dany Garcia announced the eight coaches while on Get Up on ESPN – but still no city announcement.

Barlow was one of the eight coaches announced along with Wade Phillips, Bob Stoops, Jim Haslett, Rod Woodson, Hines Ward, Anthony Becht and Terrell Buckley.
